Eyelids (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery (known as blepharoplasty) reduces the effects of age on the eyelids.
Upper eyelid surgery removes the excess subcutaneous fat and loose skin from the eyelid area that causes the eyelid to droop and significantly age the face.
Lower eyelid surgery is very effective in reducing puffiness or ’bags’ under the eyes. During the surgery, the doctor will remove excess fatty deposits and skin underneath the eye. The result is a more youthful, invigorated appearance.
Blepharoplastic surgery is commonly performed in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures, such as facelifting and forehead lifting to further enhance results.
Blepharoplastic procedures can be performed on both eyelids, or just the upper or lower eyelid.
This surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation, and is normally completed in 15 minutes for each eyelid.

Facelifting (Rhytidectomy)

During the surgery, the doctor removes excess skin fat and tightens underlying muscle. Dr. Fantozzi will determine which method will be most effective for you.
Most facelift procedures are completed in approximately two hours. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia and sedation.

Nose Remodelling (Rhinoplasty)
Rhinoplasty (also referred to as a ’nose job’) can dramatically improve the aesthetic of the nose and, in some cases, respiratory function. It can reduce an overly large nose and add form and volume to a small nose. The procedure can also reshape the nose to correct bumps and other distortions.
There are two surgical approaches for this procedure; open rhinoplasty and closed rhinoplasty.
Open Rhinoplasty involves making an incision from outside the nose. Closed Rhinoplasty is performed by making an incision inside the nostrils. Splints are usually placed inside the nose following surgery to maintain shape while the area heals.
The result is a more balanced, harmonious facial appearance.
Rhinoplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia and completed in about one hour.

Ear Remodelling (Otoplasty)
Otoplasty is often performed on children with large, protruding ears and can make a significant difference in self-confidence. The surgical incision is usually made in a inconspicuous location behind the ear. The doctor then adjusts the position of the ear and remove unwanted cartilage.
The surgery usually performed under local anaesthesia, and lasts about one hour.

Hair Replacement
Hair replacement surgery can restore a full and natural look in one surgical session.
ThIs is a surgical technique that involves removing skin containing hair follicles from the posterior scalp (the donor site, area of good hair growth); each follicle is then reinserted into the thinning area. Doctor Fantozzi uses very small, fine, needles to puncture the sites for receiving the grafts.
This is an ideal procedure for many patients. It is possible for hair follicles to be placed at a predetermined density and pattern, aligning the incisions in a consistent fashion to promote a realistic hair appearance.

Facial Lipo-filling
The procedure involves transferring fat from a part of your body to the face via injection. The fat injection into the face has the twin effects of filling deep wrinkles and skin folds, and also containing growth factors that help maintain the skin.
As the fat is from your own body, the risk of rejection, inflammation and allergic reaction is eliminated.

Lip Enhancement & Reconstruction
A lip enhancement procedure is designed to give patients fuller lips, while maintaining natural looking results. Dr. Fabio Fantozzi is pleased to provide lip augmentation treatment options such as Restylane® implants, or using autologous dermal tissue.
Dermal tissue implants have been used on several patients to enhance the size of lips. They are an excellent option for patients looking for a more natural, and semi-permanent, form of lip enhancement.
Restylane® implants use hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in the body—and commonly used in treatments to reduce facial wrinkles and fine lines. During this treatment, Restylane® is injected into the upper and/or lower lips, increasing the size and emphasizing the shape of the lips. The results of a Restylane® treatment last approximately six months and follow up treatments are available at our practice.
Lip reconstruction procedures are also available, such as cleft lip repairs.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is used to remove fine lines and to smooth superficial pigmentation. The goal of the procedure is to remove the weather-worn outer layer of skin. The procedure can also reduce wrinkles and acne scars.
During the procedure, the doctor uses a special device to buff layers of dead skin from the face using tiny crystals and suctioning equipment. This procedure is quick, simple and effective and requires virtually no downtime.
Microdermabrasion is usually performed under local anesthesia and can be completed in about 10 minutes.
Laser Skin Treatment
This procedure uses a laser to resurface the skin, thus improving skin tone and reduce wrinkles. It can also be used to treat acne, reduce visible capillaries, angiomas, tattoo removal, and for depilation of regions where hair growth is undesirable.

BOTOX®
BOTOX® Cosmetic was originally approved to treat dystonia, a neuromuscular disease. It was then discovered that BOTOX® Cosmetic was also highly effective in the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. BOTOX® Cosmetic has now become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures, particularly for the treatment of crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles and frown lines.
When injected into the skin, BOTOX® Cosmetic relaxes the muscles responsible for the repetitive actions that cause the wrinkles. It is a quick and efficient way to reduce facial wrinkles and lines.
Depending on the extent of injections, most BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments can be completed in five minutes. Results usually last about five months.
